The idea of this lesson is to compare all the material we already know on the six string guitar to the seven string one, adding the one string more, to shapes, chords and diagrams we already know, instead of learning them from the scratch.

In part 3 of the series we are using another root on A string to learn the third mode within out patterns. We also play the patterns using legato technique. This lesson, along side with the first 3 will create a foundation for understanding modes better in the next lessons to come.
